0564: The WNHL Series, Part 4

We're up to the fourth team in Nick Burton's fictional Women's National Hockey League. Introducing the Buffalo Mariners. They join the Montreal Royals, Boston Irish and Toronto Metros. Two more to go. Any guess which cities will be represented?

I assume the final two teams will be New York and Boston.

As for this look: PERFECT.

Not bad. Although very nice, I rated it lower than the others in this series. With the others, each team seemed to have ots own distinct identity that seperated it from its NHL counterpart. IMO, this looks too close to the Sabres by sharing theie colour scheme and a similar uniform template.

The striping reminds me more of the 1970's St Louis jerseys than Buffalo. Not that that is a bad thing. The logo fits well with a 1970's style too.
