0694: NYC Stadium Showdown

With the Winter Classic behind us, the NHL Stadium Series is just around the corner. Check out these Rangers and Devils jerseys from Nick Burton. Would they make for a better looking outdoor game than the real jerseys?

I'm very impressed. Both of these look great, they really do. For the Rangers jersey, I think it would look even better if you make the jersey navy blue and add some silver accents or if you switch the Lady Liberty with the 'Rangers' script. As for the Devils, that jersey is awesome. I'm really happy that the Devils are wearing their throwbacks and that they said no to letting Reebok and the NHL create some chrometastrophe as I call it but when I see this, this would have been an amazing look for their Stadium Series game. That black Devils concept you made is a look that would make one hell of a third jersey. (No pun intended) Actually, I would like to see some Devils green added to it. Besides that, awesome job.

These are great concepts. Both keep with the classic looks of both teams, while giving something a little bit different and enjoyable.

R - I think if you made the Rangers jersey navy blue it would make a matchup against a team in black very hard to watch.

@JEFFB, you're right, as you can see, I didn't think about that. XD I was actually just talking about the concepts in general. Now I see that this concept is meant to be like the last WC, a.k.a. a color vs. color game. I must say, a Royal Blue vs. Black game would be nice to see.
