0268: Retro/Modern Stars

Last week, we heard from Stars owner Tom Gagliardi who is definitely ready for a new look in Dallas. Thank goodness! We're all right there with him. So count on seeing a lot more Stars concepts in the near future, such as this great one from Joseph Loretz. It's a unique mix of retro and modern elements. The logo could use a little bit of polish but I think the jersey itself is there!

Agree that the jersey itself is great, but the primary logo is too plain, and the typeface doesn't work. The secondary logos are nice though. Striping is good (really like the thick stripes and black sleeve and bottom of the jersey), and the colors all work,

It's nice & simple, though I'd probably rather see that fine pants logo on the shoulders than the white patch. Order & width of stripes is spot-on.

Cool concept but hem stripes should more closely match arm stripes.

Not huge on the black. i would rather have a yellow on the bottom and just green on the sleeves.

Decent uniform, but I have a feeling that the Stars are going to have a radical overhaul. Everyone is pushing classic-look, and I think we'll be seeing Red, White and Blue (and Silver) on the new duds.
