0012: Buffalo's Third Jersey Inversion

Word on the street is the Buffalo Sabres' royal blue third jersey isn't long for this world. The team is expected to dump it at the end of this season. That's too bad because if they ever wanted to make it their home sweater, Tex Fischer has designed the perfect complement for the road. (Oh, and my apologies to Tex for the delay in getting his work on the site.)

The triple stripes around the shoulder yoke are a bit much but I live the rest. Looks better than the Royal version.

I am a Buffalo fan... Of all our losing teams. I can't stand the possibility of a black alternate. Keep the one that they have now!!!

I don't know if the current third's design translates well to white...I'm not really a fan of this one. I don't know why they can't just keep what they have...it's a nice throwback-inspired jersey (particularly in color) to match a throwback-based home/away set (particularly in style). Tex always does a great job on his jersey designs, I just think that the current Sabres third is better off in blue than in white.

Probably the Sabres' best 3rd ever, so it looks great. Maybe they can have road and home 3rds?

Wow, this is old, thats on the old template, that's probably 9 months old, bur I'm glad to hear it's generally positive feedback.

If you team these up with the current blue thirds and they would have the sickest unis in the league.

I'd say that's about as nice as it gets.
