0649: Back to Black and Red

The Buffalo Sabres recently debuted their controversial new two-tone third jersey. That got Arron Anastasia thinking of a previous era for the club. Anyone interested in seeing the the Sabres return to a color palette like this?

0637: Thinking Outside the Circle

This Freak Out Friday is designed to make you "think outside the circle," according to designer Johnny Woods. He's put together jerseys for the Islanders and Sabres, teams that have traditionally employed circular crests. Hit or miss?

0623: Buffalo Freak Out

All right, which is a bigger freak out? The Sabres' actual third jersey? Or this white and gold "goathead" concept from Danny Emerson?

0606: The Sabres by Hand

Morgo Uxbridge is back with another hand-drawn concept, this time for the Buffalo Sabres. Could there be any design more appropriate for this team?

0579: Keep Dreaming, Buffalo

Ever need something pleasant to look at? Even though you know it's just fantasy? Brendan Anderson would have the Buffalo Sabres wear a jersey like this and I think he could rally a lot of people behind that idea. Too bad it'll never happen.

0558: A Pair of Sabres Predictions

It's Thursday so we're likely to get another "sneak glimpse" of the Buffalo Sabres' new third jersey. In that spirit, how about a pair of predictions? Jeremy Roney thinks he has a pretty good idea of the final product. Think he's on the right track?

Then we have another guess from the prolific Brian Brideau. To see how much his prediction has changed in five weeks, check out this post from last month.

0524: Buffalo No-Go

We end the week where it began: Buffalo. This concept by Bryan Dyck sort of walks the line in terms of Freak Out Fridays, though. It's not a bad design and strictly speaking it's not even that far into outer space. But the number on the chest and the oversimplified crest are not quite my cup of tea. Interesting idea, but I don't think it should be NHL-bound.
