I can't stop posting Lady Liberty concepts for the New York Rangers. Most of them are just superb. Especially this one from Thomas Hopkins. By the way, you may have heard the bad news. Until this season, the Rangers had been wearing the Lady Liberty logo on their practice jerseys. Not anymore. And that's depressing.

not 100% sold on the stripes on the top, but i think they could grow on me. very nice concept.
Wow, that's a damn shame about the practice jerseys, looks like this logo has been erased from the official Rangers catalog, minus the "NYR" wordmark from this logo that's on the helmets.
I am really happy that they no longer use the liberty head logo.
The stripes are annoying...it's very difficult to do stripes proper.
The liberty logo should be put to rest permanently...
New York is a very, very traditional market (in all sports) and to "update" and/or modernize usually doesn't fare well....
The Rangers or any New York team will never go to or go back to a Statue of Liberty style logo, reason being the Statue of Liberty is NOT in New York anymore, it is officially apart of New Jersey, therefore it would make no sense to use a Statue of Liberty jersey for a New York Team. Look it up if you dont believe me, thats why New York transit and all logos for operations and companies in the city featuring the statue of liberty were phased out by 2008. New Jersey won the court case against New York for jurisdiction of Liberty Park.
