0607: Black Bolts
This is proof the Tampa Bay Lightning need to put a black jersey back into the mix. Todd Varga has put together what could be a great alternate.

Just missing the Victory Stripes.
That logo still needs the same outline treatment the #s got. Blue on this jersey, black on the home sweater and blue or black on the road jersey. Other than that, this is the way they should have gone with the home sweater in the first place.
I'd like to see a slightly lighter blue. Nice job otherwise.
I'd really love for them to go back to their original design, or at least something like it...or their old logo? It's one of the best in the league, I think, I wish it could make a return someday.
Anywho. I'd love if they'd use this, and maybe a white version that looked somewhat like their old whites.
Oh yeah, and victory stripes too.
It's not bad, just boring. Which means it matches their current set really well.
I think that's a very solid jersey for the Lightning
This is a decent concept that would make a decent third jersey except, it is way too plain and it looks like it is missing some things. I think Tampa's original logo would look really good as the crest and taking the shoulder patches off or changing them would look good too. This look could also use some "Victory Stripes" and how about some silver and a lighter shade of blue. Also, I think that since this is a Lightning concept, add something creative and exciting, perhaps some Lightning Bolts somewhere on the jersey, besides the pants? By itself, the jersey is decent and I like it better than their home jersey but to make it great, you got to add a little more to the look. Even just adding the Victory Stripes would improve the look.
