0610: The Mighty Outdoors

This Outdoor Saturday post may have been better suited to last week when the Ducks held their Throwback Night. But better late than never, right? Dylan Wonka presents a pair of throwback-inspired jerseys, either of which would be awesome for the Ducks-Kings Stadium Series game in January.

But most reports instead have them wearing orange with the classic Mighty Ducks crest. Anyone want to tackle that for a future Saturday post?

Eh, figures that they won't throw out the Mighty Ducks uniforms again for the Winter Classic, most likely.

I cannot get enough of eggplant and jade, these beautiful concepts get 5 stars from me.

...well...the Wild Wing one would if I could vote on it.

I love that top concept...a thing of beauty! The bottom one has that nostalgia feel to it, but that's one jersey probably best left in history (I love it, but some of the 90s should probably stay in the 90s).

Also, I took a shot at the orange Ducks Stadium Series jersey the same night as they brought back the Mighty look in Anaheim...should be in your inbox. I'd prefer the classic colors to the current, but I'll be happy with them wearing the duck mask crest in either color pallet.

I have to tip my hat to the person who designed these. These are the best Ducks concepts I have ever seen. I'm lost for words. I love them both, even the WildWing jersey. That Jade Ducks jersey is fabulous. I want one of each, these are that good. I'm speechless, incredible isn't even a good enough way for me to describe it. Awesome, just plain awesome.
