0614: Military Jets

Steven Grant has been trying to de-Edge the NHL. His latest attempt is for the Winnipeg Jets. He says, "This concept is inspired by the old RCAF jerseys, and also a bit by the WHA Jets jerseys. I wanted to further the military look created by the logo, so I used stencil numbers."

I definitely prefer the return of red and going with only one shade of blue. The stencil numbers I'm not as enamoured with but since he is going with a military theme, then it is a good fit. A very good concept.

I like the military themed stenciled name and numerals... looks pretty good to me

I may be in a minority, but I like the two-tone blue the Jets use. Add in some red to go with that, somewhere, and use stenciled numbers and the current set would look great. That said, these are some sharp uniforms.
