What would St. Patrick's Day be without a gratuitous shamrock or two? Consider it done with this Montreal Canadiens concept from Brian Brideau.

Aside from the fact that this is just completely wrong on so many levels, it's actually a really kick-ass jersey.
A nice attempt at the concept of making the Habs shirt fit St.Patrick's Day. However, Red and Green is so wrong, I looked at it and thought it was a mash up jersey, New Jersey Canadian's or Montreal Devils... Red and Green is New Jersey all over, and just don't work with anyone else in the league.
Replace the Habs with the Devils and I think it would work... but just as a one-off St. Paddy's Day sweater.
Yeah, I have to echo Kevin's sentiments about it being wrong.... If the Habs' red jersey is the perfect hockey sweater (as deemed so by UniWatch), throwing shamrocks on the shoulders and changing the blue to green almost seems sacrilegous (sp?). Now... if the red was swapped out for ORANGE, you might just have something there (or even reversed the colors so that the body is green and the stripe is orange... Not sure whether Quebecois/French Canadians have predominantly Catholic or Protestant leanings.... As I was told by more than one hardcore Irish-American Catholic, no self-respecting Catholic would be caught DEAD wearing orange on St. Patty's Day, as the orange represents the Protestant base in Ireland.
Cammalleri went to the Flames a couple years ago. No biggie, but I did a double-take on the date when I saw the player name.
