0464: Leaked Logo Mania
After the Dallas Stars accidentally leaked their new logos last week, Icethetics concept artists went straight to work! On Saturday we got a taste of how the new logos could be used, and as we start the second week of nonstop Stars concepts, we get a little more. Dylan Wonka has done a phenomenal job by incorporating elements of the club's original jerseys from 1993.
Meanwhile, Bryan Dyck put together these. I think what we're seeing is that given the new logos and the new color palette, it'll be hard for the Stars to get this wrong. I'm anticipating a great new look for this team next Tuesday!

Wonka's concept is incredible! Compared to these beauties, I can't help but feel I will be disappointed by whatever the Stars do release.
Logo is terrible, lower part clearly forms a letter " R " even in a slanted version. Perhaps, it is a good attempt to create a logo for " Reebok " USA - that is what it reminds at this point on... Secondary logo tells me " Starbucks " right away and the color scheme, too. Lack of gold hurts, no question about it. I hope that on June 4 th - it will be a totally different logo and a jersey. If he takes away the black and the green on the two jersey's sleeves then it would be fantastic! Other then that those are pretty good!
Love the designs especially the top set, wish the silver were replaced by gold
WONKA'S CONCEPT IS INCREDIBLE! I like the green and black sleeves. I hope the actually jersey looks as good as this! Glad the stars got rid of gold. Green and black. Cut the ties with Minnesota / Green bay Colors. This is Dallas Baby
I really do not like this logo! I mean, its a great attempt by the guys here to come up with these jerseys, no knock on them, but I truly dislike the logo and the colour pallette. I'm really hoping that this was some weird joke by the Stars to put everyone off and that they'll come out with a much better idea at the reveal.
Please Stars! Do better! At this stage your previous logo/wordmark/pallette is better!
I didnt like the logos at first, but the color scheme and the logo just work on a jersey. So excited to see the final result. Hope thats actually the logo

If the real jerseys look anything like Wonka's concepts, I'll be one of the first to try buying one. Amazing job.
Wonka's design is by far the best I've seen yet. It ties in everything the club is looking to do: have a classic look, pay homage to the beginning days of the franchise in Dallas and incorporate green as the dominant color. FANTASTIC job. I love it. I'd buy this jersey in a heartbeat. I hope this is very similar to what the club will be revealing next Tuesday night!
