0510: Vancouver Freak Out

John Elbertson has mixed multiple eras of Canucks logos with a jersey style not unlike the Blackhawks' in what appears to be an effort to simply freak us all out a bit. Mission accomplished. That said, this isn't all bad. Nor is it all good, but there's something about it I don't hate. What do you think of it?

to be perfectly honest, if you change the black stripes on the away jersey to red and the gold stripes to red, and change to a more standard numbering style, this would be a great Calgary Flames jersey. I'm curious to see if the artist can switch it out and see what that looks like.

I never realized how close this was to a Flames jersey. I can switch that around and send it in sometime soon. I did, unfortunately, realize the whale on this Canucks logo is swimming in a frozen urine lake about 5 minutes after I submitted it.
