0554: The Seattle Sea Otters

Well, I said I was tired of posting Seattle Metropolitans concepts. Mark Morgan was tired of it too. So he imagined a new team named the Seattle Sea Otters. (Try saying it a bunch of times in a row.) I will say this: I love the colors!

Great name, great colors, horrible logo. This would be an outstanding concept if there was a better logo to go along with it.
One of the cool things about Seattle as a sports town is the matching of all of their teams colors. Similar to how Pittsburgh has cornered the "Black and Yellow" market (Penguins, Pirates, Steelers) I think that Seattle has done a great job of identifying their Emerald City greens and blues (Seahawks, Mariners, Sounders). I'm not saying that they not saying that all need to be identical, but coming from Minnesota where we have every color in the rainbow except orange represented by our Big 4 teams, I really like the idea of having a unified citywide color palette. Obviously this jersey and logo have some problems but I agree with Chris about the colors!
Neat. A bit of white in the logo would go a long way toward's cleaning it up.
Sea Otters is a good name but i want to see the space needle in the logo somehow. How about Seattle Spacers? Is it a good name or does it suck. As for the jersey, its decent like the seahawks colours but needs white. If we ever get a team, lets face it they're the metropolitans, they could have a sea otter mascot.
I like the name and the lime green. But change the blue to black and the grey to silver. I saw a jersey/goalie pads with that black/neon green/silver color combo and it was really nice
It's a pretty neat uniform but that logo has no business being on the front. I know the general consensus on wordmarks around here is negative but I think a New York-esque "Seattle" going down diagonally across the front would look really nice on that uniform with those colours.
I love the logo and colors, just wish there was more to the design.
LOL I love the name... Perfect fit for Seattle.. small and weak..... BTW SEAHAWKS SUCK!
I know Paul MacLean is a good coach, but why would someone want him to be on a team logo?
Aren't those colours simply the Seattle Seahawks pallette? Not that it's a bad thing, I think they look great, and I agree with the poster who mentioned they enjoy when a city sticks to similar pallets.
Is it just me, or does that otter look a bit confused?
Lose the green and blue. So close to Vancouver? You should know better. Come up with a better color combo.
