0132: The Philangeles FlyKings

Inspired by Ross Taylor's series of brand-blended concepts, Ty Hill set out to merge a couple of 1967 expansion clubs. Is this what would happen if the Philadelphia Flyers and Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings mated? I don't know but it's definitely a Freak Out Friday.
Ty read through your comments and took a stab at some revisions.

That looks really good. No idea what kind of team name would lend itself to that logo, but it's a great looking jersey.
Stop the madness! These mash-ups are driving me insane!
Give it a red dot and it would remind me of HAL 9000 from 2001: A Space odyssey.
FREAkY!
The crest in the design makes it look like a baseball logo, since it looks exactly like home plate, instead of a shield or a coat of arms.
I actually like the purple version of the jersey, it blends well. The logo is where it loses it, reminds me of Pokemon for some reason...
I tink the have a greatter look if the circle was in orange just for more philly. great job
This looks like an hybrid of a baseball home plate and a Pokéball...
I understand that the circle is supposed to represent center ice( and is relatively clever) but I don't think it works?
...That is unless they created a new Cyborg team can called it The Los Angeles Hal's.
Of course, this mash up makes sense to a lot of Kings fans, who already identify as Flyers West and Philly as Kings East. Look at the crossover of management and players from the two clubs... As a jersey, however, meh.
The Philangeles Flings? Seems only natural with all the former Flyers who are now Kings as vice versa; but, I agree, it looks a bit baseball as it looks more like home plate.
Update looks like the logo for a convienence store. yukk
