0419: If the Habs Wore Leafs...

Sacrilege. Pure and simple. Brian Brideau has done the unthinkable, mixing two of hockey's most recognizable brands. He even snuck some Flames in there. (Did you catch it?) Wait until you see what he has in store for next Friday. That's right, a Freak Out Friday two-parter! To be continued...

I was not a fan of that diagonal portion in the striping pattern when it was sported by the Flames, and I do not like it here. Otherwise, it is an interesting concept. Recolored and with the name of the club removed, this design can be an alternative for the Canadian national team.
I think the only thing that makes this a 'freak out' is the fact that it's supposed to be a Habs jersey. If I saw this on a Junior A/B/C team, I'd think it was beautiful. The Ottawa Junior Canadians or Rockland Nationals, for example, would look great in these. I've always loved the Calgary jerseys with the diagonal slash.
5 Stars from me anyway... Freak out over the Habs thing or not, it's still a nice jersey.
Wow! Very interesting and very cool. Could definitely be used for a minor or junior team. The diagonal slash is a weird modern addition that looks really out of place though and the yoke colour matches the leaf logo on the home but not the away - why?
You know, the more I think about this, the more I like it. Rumour has it that Rockland is trying to get the Nationals back into Junior A, maybe as early as next season. You should modify the logo to say Rockland Nationals and get in touch with the team.
excellent idea for freak-out friday. I would have rather seen this on the Habs instead of some of those wacky throw backs
its wicked except on the whites i don't like the stripe
