Concept Collection 51

I'm currently trying to develop a new system for posting concept art that makes things simpler for me. (That's always the unreachable goal.) In the meantime, I'll do my best to keep this page updated a little more often.
One last thing. Help me out here. I know some of you think I've been "making you wait" for new concepts, but that's not how it is. Having said that, if you perhaps don't care for the designs in this set and feel like commenting to say something like, "I've waited months for this?!", don't bother. It'll only tell me there's no point to updating the page in the future. Rate the designs, move on, and check back later. I can't please everybody, nor will I try to do so. Just know that I'm doing my best to keep all aspects of Icethetics updated.

I wouldn't mind seeing a black Coyotes third jersey
I do enjoy how the Flames jerseys are slowly morphing into the Canucks 1980's V's.

not sure if the flames one really counts as a concept considering they wore those just prior to the edge update
I like most of these, but isn't the Flames one exactly what they have now?
I could be wrong but didn't the Flames already have those jersey's?
I really like the Bruins jersey posted above as an alternate. The Flames jerseys look like what they had before the Edge jerseys, but their current Edge home and away jerseys suck, so I like the concept. The only change I'd make is to make the Crest "C" white instead of black. I like the Pheonix jersey except the circular crest, that has been way over done on jerseys in the past few seasons. The only change I would want to see to the Devil's jersey is if they went back to their original style with the red, green, and white.
Jer: The Coyotes already have a black third jersey.
flames had that design pre reebok edge.
I really like the Bruins' brown and the simple 'B'. Nice striping, too. Good job.
I think most teams should redesign their jerseys to be Edge versions of the jerseys they wore in the 80's (Certain teams should use their 70's or 90's designs though). Just like the Oillers & Islanders did.
Just think about how awesome certain teams would look.
I may just be a sixteen year old kid checking these every once in a while, but I enjoy the concept section aloooot! If people can't be patient for awhile, then that's their problem. Thanks for all you do, man.
i agree i cant wait to see more concepts this is actually my favorite part and those people who are impatient your not the only ones who have waited we all have so take what you can get

One of the few Coyotes fans here...I LOVE this jersey design. It's a shame that we have some of the most boring sweaters in the entire league.
The Flames one doesn't look exactly the same. I think just the patch is different, but I could be wrong.
I love the Flames concept. Wish they had those and then the current alternate would stay for a third.
While these are clearly not the best designs ever submitted, they are still interesting and appreciated
Not gonna lie, I clicked "concepts" by mistake. I thought this section had been abandoned. But honestly, if this is the best crop people have sent in, it really can't be Chris' fault.
Good Yotes concept. The rest... well, I can see why the focus of this blog has shifted towards the IceHL. I'm pumped for the next round of voting there.
I really like Bryan's Coyotes concept. I think it would look great as a third. Nice classic, simple design, like their primaries. The only thing is that the Bruins would never let another team use their jersey design.
The Flames had a set like that about 10 years ago. The New Jersey set looks far too much like a sailor outfit. Also if you are going to remake a classic logo like the Devils, try something completely new.
Other than the drawstring on the white set, the Flames concept is just a rehash of their pre-edge jerseys. Not sure how that even counts as a "concept"
I like all of them but the devils jersey needs an extra black stripe or something to break up all the red.
Chris, I don't want to sound demanding, I just want to help. I know I really enjoy Icethetics, but am disappointed when I check to see no new updates. Maybe you should reach out to the readers and ask if they want to pitch in and maybe write an article or so for the sight, and maybe get a permanent staff in place for the place at some point. Just a suggestion, been an Icethetics readers since the beginning and love the site.
@Evander - that sounds expensive. from what i can tell, none of us pay Chris for all his work. At least I don't.
@Matthew Beck - thanks for doing something with the devils...Probably the hardest team to do a design for...you're pretty much locked into black and red...don't take the ratings hard, some people want you to reinvent the wheel every time...i'll give you 4 stars for tackling it and giving us something new.
