Up first, Mike Ivall provides his take on a 2012 Winter Classic possibility. Rumors have suggested the game could be played in Philadelphia or New York next year.
Dallas Stars concept removed at artist's request
By the way, the Lightning concepts just keep streaming in, so I imagine that'll require another post or two in the near future. That's all for now.

The Pens and Columbus concepts are great. The Calgary and Winter Classic ones are alright. The Dallas one is HIDEOUS

Love the Leafs concept. I wouldn't mind them wearing that all the time. The Stars concept is also really cool. The D-Star isn't my favorite logo in the world, but I think it looks good here and the jersey itself is a vast improvement over the crap they're currently wearing.
The Dallas one just make me sad.
I think they should wear them, and then face a bunch of angry Minnesotans
The Dallas one would look spectacular if not for one small but fatal flaw, the mixture of Athletic Yellow with their Darker shade of Forest Green. Either make Athletic Yellow Gold or make the Green Kelly and you've got perfection!
Nice to see someone recognizing the very first Rangers jersey; good one, Mike! That would be a good Leaf compliment to go with it, I think. Either that, or the white 1950 style. Maybe even back to the Toronto Arenas of 1917? I'll see what I can do with that....
Pittsburgh: man, that's sharp! It fuses a lot of styles and creates something really eye-catching. Big thumbs up!
Stars: I don't mind that at all. It does heavily borrow on the old Minnesota look, but that seems to be what everyone wants.
Jackets: a little too simplified for me. I'd like to see a White version of the Third and how that would look!
Flames: I'm surprised how much I like this! It's "white hot", I suppose! This would be an exceptional Third for them, I think!
The Penguins concept is incredible. Brilliant.
Alan's Pens concept is insanely good. Talk about a jersey that should be used today. Excellent work

That design needs to be destroyed with fire.
Really like the Leafs concept; at least I would for one game. The Dallas concept is cool too. Flames is horrible, it looks like a photoshopped version of the current home and would still be ugly even if it was an original design. The Penguins set is cool but for some reason I don't like it.
Oh geez, my Flames concept sucks...BAD! I sent that in like 3 years ago!!! It was one of the first that I made...EVER!!!!
There's actually more of a story to the Stars concept than just being a simple concept submission to this site, which I can't discuss. But this isn't the final iteration of the design.

Love the Leafs. i made the same thing for NHL2004. Don't see why it hasn't been used yet! Great job!
@ken - why not? the whole story is on the dallas stars blog anyway...
The Leafs' and Penguins' jerseys have too many stripes. The others don't contribute anything new of note. Let's tear more pages from McInnis' book and his pared-down Bolts concept.

I love the Blue Jackets union cap logo, I feel that it makes a REALLY good logo for a jersey.
