The habs should use the '45-'46 throwback as an alternate. They look great!
@ Q: To my recollection even though nhluniforms.com doesn't show it, I do recall the habs wearing the white version of the red sweaters in the past as a alternate quite a bit. Don't know why they gave it up. TBH i would rather see the habs sport that 45-46 white jersey as a HOME jersey when the league gets their heads straight or a road for now because it matches the red jersey just flopped. OR make a red sweater with white shoulder yokes that mimics the current white sweater.
The Habs should've used the 45/46 throwbacks for the heritage Classic instead of the unoriginal ones they used instead, in my opinion.
Q , I really dont get why they stopped using it as a third when RBK came in its such a nice sweater , I hope they really think about bringing it back next year but they prob won't .
The habs definetely should have worn the 45-46 throwbacks for the Heritage Classic. And also make it a third. They should also get rid of the white space in the numbers.
I assume I'm one of the people who like the full barberpole. I was hoping the Sens would go with it for there new third. Also I can't get over the fact that the habs wore a MAPLE LEAF on two of the heritage jerseys!
Not really anything you can say about these. They're iconic. The only sweater in the NHL with a famous children's book and cartoon about it.
I do support the barber-pole thirds though. Adventurous!
The only way any of the Canadians jerseys could be improved is if Reebok wasn't making them.
