I would love to see Calgary adopt the current Alternate as the home, create a white version as the away, and use the Heritage Classic as a permanent, worn-on-ocassion (maybe 5-6 times a season) alternate.

That shot of Robyn Regehr in the HC uni makes him look like he's wearing a diaper! That's just not a good look at all. I'd rather see the return of the Flying V for the Canucks than see these become a regular thing. And they should just ditch the black-trimmed unis altogether.

I for one, do not want the flames go full retro. I would rather see the pre edge unis return with the killer flaming horse shoulder patch.

I'm going to 3rd Drew's motion. Though, I'd also like to see an occasionally used 4th. It'd be an adaptation of the Atlanta Flames jersey thrown in the fray. I envision something like the black Horse Head jersey with a Flaming A and the Horse Head shoulder patches. That would be kinda cool

I just don't see the need to use the provincial and Canadian flags as shoulder patches, just awful

Their current alternates are sharp; keep those and ditch the black.

Hey Chris, the Calgary Flames alternate jerseys were a little different in the first season they wore them, 2010-11, because they had thicker stripes and the NHL shield on the collar was placed differently. I think it might be worthy of its own gallery.
