I don't know that I would call those a change from the '92 ones. It's the same jersey, just a different cut.

am I out of my mind,or would re,green and black be a good--and original--color scheme for the Devils?
As a Devils fan, I like the way the team is using their throwback jerseys, as a once a year deal instead of using them more frequently. That way the look isn't worn out and is a treat for that one game they wear them each season.
No only do the Devils not overdo it with their throwbacks, the best part is that they wear them not so much because they're throwbacks, but so that they wear green for St Patrick's Day. Seriously, the unis are only worn for the home game closest to St Patrick's Day. It's a bit if a New York area tradition (the Knicks have worn green on the day numerous times, and the Mets do so for their Spring Graining games as well.)
I might be a homer, but these are definitely in the top 5 of best in the league. Great logo, simple jersey, and has never been changed. There are no gimmicks with this. Just a great jersey!
